A FLAIR FOR THE CHAIR

As we age our muscles lose strength, our endurance wanes, we become less flexible and our bones tend to shrink in size and density. Balance becomes a problem and falls are common. Aging can be easier and more enjoyable if we take the time to move. Chair yoga is a wonderful place to begin.

For the past few years I have been working with the elderly community and have made some interesting observations. The most notable being: It is never too late to start! Chair yoga is accessible to all and the benefits are numerous. As a certified chair yoga teacher I have helped clients in their seventies to late eighties go from wheelchair to walker, from depressed to happy and from pain to less pain. I love watching the progression and showing them how they can control more than they think.

I teach in the greater Princeton area and also do one on ones.

Drop me an email if you have any questions or if I can help you or someone you love.

Cheers!
